THE PROCESS

For a precise and comfortable fit we make our rings in 1/4 size increments. Shown here is the first step, cutting and sizing the wax.

Then the shank is built up so it can be reshaped and proportioned to the size requested.

Here is the finished shank with just the right taper and width for comfort and balance.

Elk ivory pieces start by separating the top of the ivory from the root.

This is the finished cut with symmetrical outline marked for shaping.

Here is the finished ivory.

The ivory is now waxed into the selected design for a perfect fit.
Here is the finished ivory wax work.
Elk antlers being waxed up and re-carved for crisp undercut detail.

This is the finished wax ready for casting in solid 14kt. gold.
